This position could work in any area or department of this pork processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting is required in many areas (weight could be up to 62 lbs. upon area). These positions work in an extreme cold, damp or extreme hot and humid environment, these areas have slippery walking surfaces. These positions will involve repetitive motion and basic to intermediate skill knife work, such as trimming and removing bones from meat products. Some positions may involve the use of powered equipment, such as saws or skinner machines. Must follow any other tasks assigned by member of management.
