About the position
The Department of Business Administration at Augsburg University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach a Business and Economics statistics course. The course is taught using Excel and Tableau. Fall 2025 opening: face-to-face class taught during the day twice a week. This search will also establish a 'pool' of instructors if such openings occur during Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2025. Applicants may be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the year. These classes meet during the day on the Minneapolis campus two to three times per week. The successful candidate will possess both a high level of intercultural competency and a commitment to inclusive teaching and authentic representation in the classroom. Responsibilities include appropriate classroom teaching, constructing assignments using online learning platforms, grading, office hours, regular email and meetings with the course coordinator and engagement in professional development as a professor, including some orientation the week before classes begin. Course syllabus, textbook and shared office space are provided. Each course requires approximately 12-15 hours/week for 15-16 weeks.

Requirements
- Master’s in Data Analytics, Economics or Statistics or a related field.
