About the position

Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to join our academics team. We are currently in search of a passionate professor for an online undergraduate level Marketing class for the upcoming Summer quarter, starting July 7th. Strayer Adjunct Faculty are not just instructors, they are also coaches and mentors. Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
  • Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum through the use of technology and videos.
  • Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience.
  • Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
  • Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
  • Adhere to University policies and procedures.
  • Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing OR Master's degree in Business-related discipline with 27 graduate quarter credit hours (18 semester credit hours) in Marketing required.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Marketing required.
  • Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred.
  • Professional experience specifically in Social Media Marketing, International Marketing, or Marketing Analytics preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable).
