About the position

The Product Performance Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide range of administrative support and research assistance to the Product Performance group. The tasks include but are not limited to data verification/input, utilizing the AX business system for multiple business operations, Product Support Sales operations and some Client Offering management, such as Cat ET subscriptions. The role emphasizes a commitment to safety, excellence, integrity, teamwork, and accountability within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, accurate, and timely data maintenance and project information utilizing a broad range of software (AX, SIS, PCC, VL, Cat Insight, Cat Foresight, etc.) to support the objectives of the Product Support Team.
  • Manage subscriptions and billings for customers in applicable systems including, ET and SIS programs.
  • Run renewal reports and provide Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs) for customer follow up.
  • Work with the Contract Support Administrator to create new contracts and renew subscription information.
  • Update and maintain accurate customer machine populations in the systems in collaboration with the Product Support Sales team.
  • Document processes and align them to CAT and/or Western States systems.
  • Manage Special Projects related to parts growth initiatives offered by CAT or Western States (OLGA, Instant Access, etc.).
  • Work to improve and simplify the process for equipment set up and update.
  • Complete specific sales support functions in research and information management to support communication objectives between PSSRs, Sales Representatives, and Sales and Marketing department.
  • Coordinate and implement special projects as assigned by Product Support VP.
  • Promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.

Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum of two years' comparable experience required; industry experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
  • Excellent data maintenance/quality control skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to produce effective, timely and accurate information.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Consistent attendance.
