Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of transactional and multichannel promotional campaigns to ensure Guests are informed about their upcoming flights.
  • Provides tactical support to the Email Marketing team and stakeholders on the development of upcoming campaigns and efforts.
  • Supports transactional email and SMS/PUSH campaigns, both in implementing new efforts and troubleshooting issues.
  • Creates and continuously optimizes campaigns for better engagement: segmentation, messaging and template design inclusive of testing roadmap.
  • Undergoes scheduled quality control audits on email campaigns to verify Brand compliance and email best practice.
  • Aides in the implementation of customer email journeys and provides valuable feedback to improve performance.
  • Works with the Quality Assurance team to support new IT releases and provide guidance on testing process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications and/or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications and/or related field.
  • 2+ years relevant email marketing and direct to consumer marketing experience required; travel, retail, e-commerce industry or email marketing agency preferred.
  • Understanding of email marketing including audience segmentation, A/B testing and email metrics.
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Oracle Responsys platform preferred.
  • Understanding of fundamental HTML coding.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with fast-paced working environment; able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with larger team and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
