Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the product portfolios to identify where we are on terms of product lifecycle and to identify areas to prioritize higher growth opportunities.
  • Develop detailed investment cases for new and existing products, including financial projections, risk assessments, and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor the performance of these investments to ensure they meet business objectives.
  • Ensure that product hierarchy aligns is structured in a way to support strategic assessments of our offerings.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Work closely with finance, business units, marketing, sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of product portfolio strategies.
  • Articulate complex ideas and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and deriving insights for decision-making.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Python, Alteryx, SPSS, SQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence software like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
  • Experience in product portfolio management, including assessing product performance and making investment decisions.
  • Strategic thinking to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex ideas and strategies.
  • Project management experience to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's) preferred.
