We seek a highly motivated Assistant or Associate Scientist I to join a dynamic team of professionals in the Product Development team to support our company mission. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and innovative, working very closely with our Principal Scientist - Lyophilization. The ideal candidate will have experience with immunoassays, such as ELISA, MSD, and qPCR. Familiarity with lyophilization processes is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Apply laboratory skills and experience (design and execute experiments) to generate high quality data.
- Perform data analysis, construct graphs and report results.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental work performed.
- Plan and perform lyophilization activities.
- Perform root cause investigation and corrective actions.
- Perform other duties and assume additional departmental responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- BS degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience running ELISA, qPCR or other related immunoassay platform assay.
- Hands on experience in lyophilization is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic, team environment.
- Ability to exercise practical judgement and to apply knowledge/skills that suit the situations.
- Innovative thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
- Attention to details and ability to work on multiple complex projects.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
