Florida State University is currently in the leadership phase of a comprehensive campaign. As the leadership phase of the campaign begins, the Division of University Advancement is accelerating the hiring of additional Alumni Engagement professionals campus-wide and is excited to build out its team. Responsibilities
The assistant director will report to the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement, Marketing & Business Development, and will design and execute marketing and solicitation campaigns for the travel program and Westcott Bricks program.
Additionally, they will oversee the design and execution of the class ring program and Seminoles Forever Fund.
Ideates and strengthens revenue generation initiatives for the Alumni Association.
Manages Westcott Brick program, including oversight of budget, sales, campaign development and execution, general communications/requests and any other related issues.
Tracks and reports weekly and monthly revenue analysis as well as transaction and constituent data in CRM.
Organizes and oversees all brick installations as well as the general Westcott brick email inbox and travel program inbox.
Manages the Association's travel program, including oversight of budget, travel calendar, sales, campaign development and execution, general communications/requests, and any other related issues.
Serves as a liaison for travel companies.
Tracks and reports weekly and monthly revenue analysis as well as transaction and constituent data in CRM.
Keeps abreast of all alumni travel best practices and trends through research, networking, and other available resources.
Manages the Association's class ring program and Seminoles Forever fund initiatives, and additional revenue generating contracts as they arise.
This includes an oversight of the budget, sales, campaign development and execution, general communications/requests and any other related issues.
Track and reports weekly and monthly revenue analysis as well as transaction and constituent data in CRM.
Contributes to the design and execution of an annual marketing plan to create awareness around the Alumni Associations programs, products, and services.
Represents and strengthens marketing efforts at event programming and tabling; including but not limited to homecoming, commencement, tailgates, reunions, kickoff events, and networking events, as assigned.
Work collaboratively with internal peers to evaluate emerging opportunities, new assets, and marketing elements.
Attends meetings for/with Associate Director, as needed.
Keeps abreast of new alumni initiatives utilizing CAMMP network and other available resources.
Contributes to the preparation of reports for national board or senior staffers as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and three years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and seven years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to seven years.)
Valid FL or GA Driver's License or the ability to obtain.
