Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales

About the position

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions as Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales in the Department of Marketing & Professional Sales of the Coles College of Business with a preferred start date of August 2026. These are nine-month contracted positions and are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. These are entry level, early career positions. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include a 3/2 or 3/3 teaching load in undergraduate and graduate courses based on research and teaching qualifications.
• The teaching responsibilities for marketing may include: Principles of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Research, Retail Marketing, Introduction to Business, Event/Entertainment Marketing, Advertising, Social Media Marketing, and other emerging areas in marketing.
• The teaching responsibilities for sales may include: Professional Selling, Sales Management, Applied Selling, Sales Technology, or Introduction to Business.
• Service to the Department/College/University/Profession is expected.
• Engaging in quality scholarly activities consistent with AACSB accreditation is expected.

Requirements

• A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Marketing, or a closely related discipline, is required at the time of hire.
• ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.
• All areas of teaching interest in Marketing or Sales will be considered.
