About the position

This position will provide quality teaching primarily in Professional Selling at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will also contribute to innovative curriculum development. Professional selling plays a critical role in today’s rapidly evolving business environment, where customer engagement, data-driven decision-making, and strategic sales leadership are essential to organizational success. As companies across industries navigate digital transformation and increasingly competitive markets, effective sales management is key to driving growth, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering value. This faculty role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of sales leaders equipped to meet these challenges. This position will focus on high-quality undergraduate teaching and service to the department, school, university, and profession. This position begins spring semester 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality teaching primarily in Professional Selling at the undergraduate level.
  • Contribute to innovative curriculum development.
  • Engage in service to the department, school, university, and profession.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field by date of appointment for the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.
  • Master’s degree in Marketing or a closely related field by the date of appointment for the rank of Assistant Lecturer.
  • Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in undergraduate teaching in professional selling and related areas.
  • Experience developing or delivering courses related to professional selling.
  • Industry experience or professional certifications relevant to professional selling.
