Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager in identifying, implementing, and executing relevant local media partnerships, events, sponsorships, etc., to support the overall brand, business, and consumer plan for the cluster.
  • Lead local activation of highly innovative, cut-through brand building programs.
  • Work with brand teams to create local programs and materials consistent with brand strategy and equity guidelines.
  • Evaluate programs and initiatives, making recommendations for discontinuation or improvement.
  • Partner with the commercial team to educate, plan, and evaluate agency execution of assigned brand initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consumer marketing agency ambassador team members working in the field, ensuring optimal resourcing.
  • Manage local consumer marketing funds and provide input into local resource allocation decisions.
  • Serve as a critical resource for local consumer and competitive insights.
  • Champion brand building by providing category/portfolio/brand expertise and conducting tastings and brand education training.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of marketing experience in a consumer goods, music, media, sports or other experiential environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, executing, and managing brand programs.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to turn 'insights to actions.'
  • Impeccable vendor and budget management, and the ability to operate independently to negotiate contracts and execute programming.
  • Experience working with and managing outside agencies, including POS development and advertising.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels, functions, and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams to meet consensus goals and manage through influence with internal and external partners.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute innovative 'big ideas' that grow brands.
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority projects simultaneously.
  • Strong results orientation, with a track record of superior financial performance.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including some weekends.
