About the position

As an Associate Product Manager (APM) for FIFA World Cup 2026, you will play a key role in supporting the Lead Product Manager in delivering technology-driven solutions that align with our business goals. This hands-on position will involve working across the entire product lifecycle, from gathering requirements and documenting features to managing agile scrum ceremonies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Lead Product Manager (LPM) to translate business goals into technological solutions that drive value.
  • Assist in managing Agile scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to inform the development of new features and enhancements.
  • Create and prioritize user stories, epics, and product backlog items for the development team, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
  • Document product features and functionality, providing clear, concise documentation to support development and QA efforts.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends and make recommendations to elevate user experience and productivity for our applications.
  • Support the development and optimization of web applications and integrations, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance user experiences, and drive product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, and customer support, to deliver high-quality product releases.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and prioritize future development work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a product management, business analysis, or related role (internship experience also considered).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in managing scrum ceremonies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with creating user stories, epics, and feature documentation.
  • Working knowledge of API-based integrations.
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with data platforms and web technologies.
  • Knowledge of web applications, software development processes, and digital product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Asana, and similar project management tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Amplitude, Segment, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools is a plus.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a desire to learn and grow in the product management space.
