The Audience & Marketing Manager participates in the strategic development and execution of innovative, data-driven audience growth and marketing campaigns. They will sit within the Audience Strategy & Growth team and focus on expanding and diversifying TED’s audiences at the top-of-funnel, nurturing their engagement and identifying ways to build their loyalty. They’ll work closely with teams across media, events and business units to recommend and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue for TED. Key aspects of this work involve developing and executing campaigns and content strategies to drive new users to TED initiatives and products — including newsletters, podcasts, events, Membership, TED.com and more. They’ll utilize existing go-to marketing tools like email, Web banners, and social media, while also brainstorming new and exciting ways to best reach TED’s target audiences. Beyond discovery and awareness, this role will work closely with initiative stakeholders to identify ways to deepen audience loyalty and retention, and to nurture strategies that support conversion goals. The Audience & Marketing Manager will also support and build TED’s culture of data-informed decision-making, helping to support org-wide audience research and data projects, create structures around marketing performance reports and translate data into actionable insights.
