Eli Lilly and Company seeks an Automation Engineer (R1-R4) to provide technical assessment of OEM Technical proposals and make recommendations as to OEM suitability. Support all aspects of tool and process validations including computer system validation. Create, execute, and coordinate validation activities in partnership with Contract Manufacturers. Define and mitigate technical and patient risks, including use of FMEA. Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure that designs meet requirements and local/corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assessment of OEM Technical proposals and make recommendations as to OEM suitability.
  • Support all aspects of tool and process validations including computer system validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 3 years of experience with manufacturing automation or manufacturing engineering.
  • 3 years of experience with large capital project delivery.
  • 3 years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), HMI, or other control systems.
  • 3 years of experience with programming control systems for high-speed assembly/conveying systems.
  • 3 years of experience with automation networks, vision systems for part inspection, and debugging of assembly lines.
  • 3 years of experience testing/optimizing performance of automated systems.
