Axiom Software Engineer- Regulatory Reporting (Remote)

About the position

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. NC, AZ. We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient professional to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions across the Axiom development lifecycle for Regulatory Reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the US-Regulatory reporting, deep expertise in Axiom Controller View, and, and hands-on experience in data modeling and reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Technical solution design and delivery for regulatory reporting using Axiom Controller View
• Drive full-cycle development across Axiom architecture using all types of business objects and application functionality
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and shell scripts
• Design and implement robust data integration and transformation pipelines from source systems to reporting environments
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, performance optimization, and compliance standards
• Work closely with QA and business stakeholders to validate data accuracy and completeness in regulatory reports
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement within the delivery team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application software programming
• OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application software programming

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in the financial services industry
• At least 3 years of hands-on Development experience with Axiom Controller View, including design and development of complex reporting solutions
• Techno functional skills and independently manage regulatory upgrades
• In-depth understanding of Axiom components, including Data Sources, Data Models, Calculation Rules, and Report Building
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise-scale data marts and managing large volumes of financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can convey complex ideas to diverse types of audiences
• Experience working in a dynamic and complex environment
