About the position
The Career Services and Internship Office (CSI) at Bridgewater State University is now accepting applications for a Marketing and Communications Assistant for the Fall 2025 semester. This opportunity is designed for students passionate about marketing, communications, graphic design, and social media who want hands-on experience in a collaborative, professional environment. As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will be a key member of our marketing team, contributing to a wide range of initiatives that enhance and maintain the Career Services and Internship Office brand. This position offers exposure to digital marketing, branding, content creation, graphic design, and social media management.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging multimedia content (blog posts, newsletters, social media, videos) using Canva to align with branding.
- Update workshop materials and contribute to the style guide.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote office programs across various platforms.
- Write, schedule, and analyze posts, refining strategies based on performance.
- Live post during events, staying current with social media trends.
- Assist with event promotion and office program logistics.
- Conduct research on digital marketing trends to inform future campaigns.
- Provide general operational support for office initiatives.
Requirements
