About the position

Modern Market is seeking a Catering Lead Coordinator who will ensure a smooth catering experience for clients. This role involves preparing dry goods, food, and ensuring timely delivery and presentation. The Catering Lead Coordinator will foster relationships with current clients and seek new opportunities for catering expansion within the community. The position requires managing the catering order process, from receiving orders to preparing and delivering them promptly as per client expectations. The role also includes fulfilling hourly duties within the restaurant, such as cashier duties, guest assistance, or supporting the line as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth catering experience for clients.
• Prepare dry goods and food for catering orders.
• Ensure timely delivery and presentation of catering orders.
• Foster relationships with current clients and seek new catering opportunities.
• Manage the catering order process from receiving to delivery.
• Assemble and verify catering orders for accuracy.
• Implement the Modern Market Catering Strategy.
• Handle orders promptly, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Exhibit friendliness, politeness, punctuality, and adaptability.
• Fulfill hourly duties within the restaurant as needed.

Requirements

• Certified food handlers and TABC (Texas).
• Reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance coverage.
