About the position

Apollo Global Management is seeking a highly motivated Channel Marketing Associate / Director to join the growing Marketing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, specifically aimed at supporting the firm's Institutional, Family Office, and Origination channel distribution efforts. The ideal candidate should understand the institutional sales process and their client base (Pensions, Insurance, Consultants, Family Offices, Corporations, etc.). They should also be to successfully collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the firm as our team works with them to develop client engagement strategies - marketing campaigns, communications and event support.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and help execute go-to-market plans for Institutional, Family Office, and Origination Partner.
  • Closely collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and corporate communications colleagues to bring the best thinking to marketing initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects at once and deliver on time and on budget.
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns, client and internal sales communications, and event support.
  • Review and analyze campaign data vs KPIs with the ability to communicate results to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure content is consistent with messaging and brand.
  • Work with colleagues to best prioritize and package content for different target audiences factoring in types of content (e.g., educational, value add, etc.), channel-specific needs/interests, and media consumption preferences.
  • Effectively present rationale and ideas to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure content is accurate and meets compliance/regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all firm investment capabilities, financial markets, and general investment topics.
  • Seek to improve processes and effectiveness whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the asset management industry.
  • Superior written communication skills.
  • Extended hours are occasionally required to meet deadlines.
