The Check-In/Inventory Technician ensures the accurate and timely inspection of new or pre-owned units and conducts routine inventory scans of all units into the Optimum RV inventory.
Responsibilities
Perform cursory inspections on all incoming units, both new and pre-owned, checking for immediate functionality, missing or defective components, or damage.
Record issues according to company processes using the approved checklist.
Report any major issues on new or pre-owned units to a manager before releasing transport drivers or submitting check-in inspection sheets to the sales or consignment department.
Meet and greet each customer or transport driver at the delivery site for inspection.
Document and relay customer concerns and questions, including functional issues to be addressed by technicians, to the advisor and/or sales manager.
Conduct inventory audits to assist with weekly and monthly inventory lot counts.
Upload inventory documents to partner departments and the manufacturer.
Attend all company-required meetings.
Follow all safety guidelines at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
Proficiency with desktop computers, smart pads, and smartphone applications relevant to successfully completing reporting and other tasks.
