About the position

As a visionary brand builder, the Chief Marketing Officer will lead our corporate brand positioning, executive public relations, and investor communications. This high-impact role will focus on expanding and elevating the Voyager brand through strategic public relations, executive thought leadership and media engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance the company's brand equity, distinguishing Voyager from competitors
  • Develop the long-term brand strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Direct proactive reputation management, public relations, and media engagement strategies.
  • Amplify corporate innovations to relevant audiences across platforms.
  • Develop and execute the strategy for executive media engagement and thought leadership, with a focus on tier 1 media
  • Lead the creation of compelling, on-brand investor materials including earnings presentations, investor decks and proxy statements
  • Identify and secure key strategic partnerships across a variety of stakeholders
  • Provide executive-level marketing partnership to Starlab, our joint venture that is designing, building and operating the next generation commercial LEO space station

Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in marketing, including significant experience partnering at senior executive and c-suite levels
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in brand positioning and a knack for innovative and impactful brand storytelling
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies, target markets, marketing tools, and industry trends
  • Technical knowledge and analytical capability to leverage data and insights for informed decision making
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences including but not limited to investors, media channels, board members and industry partners
  • Superior presentation and communication skills; ability to comprehend and relay complex concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Master's degree preferred
