About the position
Psychotherapists at Lorenz function in applied roles, delivering assessment and intervention to clients of all types. Clinicians are free to function within their own areas of competence, specialty, or expertise. Our clinics are embedded on Main Street in communities with traditionally stark access disparities. Our client census is 43% Medicaid, and we have a sliding fee schedule that goes to zero. Our no-show rate is under 10%. Attending and participating in regular case consultation, Grand Rounds, team meetings, and other meetings as required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assessment and intervention to clients of all types.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments.
- Develop treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy.
- Participate in discharge planning for patients.
- Attend and participate in regular case consultation.
- Engage in Grand Rounds and team meetings.
Requirements
- A master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health profession from an accredited academic program.
- Full, independent, unrestricted licensure as a mental health professional in Minnesota (LP, LMFT, LICSW, or LPCC).
- At least 2 years providing clinical supervision (preferred).
- Formal training in child, couples, family therapy, relational/interpersonal, or contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy (preferred).
