A Phlebotomist is any person who obtains venous and capillary blood specimens for clinical laboratory examination, or collects blood or blood components intended for transfusion by peripheral venous or skin puncture.
Requirements
Previous experience in phlebotomy work; phlebotomy certification desirable
High School diploma or GED
Current NYS Drivers License required
One year completed in an approved school for Medical Technology preferred
