About the position

We are seeking a Clinical Content Specialist leader to advance our mission of providing faculty and leadership with top-tier educational resources. As innovators in the Nursing Education market, we continuously explore new and inventive methods to engage faculty in adopting best practices for curricular success. You will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Clinical Content to plan and deliver high-quality consultation services. Your role involves identifying and assessing client needs, and developing evidence-based, best practice content that engages faculty and supports your role development from novice to expert. You will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to provide educational services and coordinate efforts with the nursing education and sales team. You should be enthusiastic about nursing education, pedagogy, mentoring, data analysis, and process improvement. You will thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, driving goals, and initiating action. A keen understanding of nursing education and the importance of program success in preparing future nurses for the innovative and dynamic world of nursing is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the securing, planning, processing, and evaluation of consultations.
  • Assess client needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to draft and revise consultation proposals.
  • Follow up on unsigned proposals to gauge client interest.
  • Manage and store proposals and client communications.
  • Address questions and concerns from decision-makers.
  • Align consultation topics and timelines with consultant expertise.
  • Act as a liaison between consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Provide resources and support throughout the planning and implementation process.
  • Review presentations, brainstorm strategies, address issues, and offer feedback.
  • Mentor, review, and edit customized projects.
  • Serve as the final reviewer for test writing, curriculum development, program review reports, and other consultation reports.
  • Support problem-solving, quality improvement, and strategic growth.
  • Review surveys and feedback.
  • Analyze client data to develop new products or services.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Team on joint marketing opportunities.
  • Deliver consultations, webinars, presentations, courses, workshops, and podcasts to advance thought leadership.
  • Stay updated on evidence-based practices and scholarly work relevant to the team's activities.
  • Work with the Accredited Provider Program Director (AP-PD) during the ANCC process.
  • Act as a liaison between the AP-PD and consultants.
  • Submit requests for contact hours, including contract details, consultant information, professional practice gap descriptions, and evidence.
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating NCPD workshops, conferences, institutes, orientations, and webinars.
  • Present sessions for webinars, conferences, and podcasts.
  • Serve as an instructor for the new faculty orientation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address organizational needs.
  • Complete planning and documentation for assigned NCPD events.
  • Create resources for company and clients, including podcasts, books, manuals, videos, learning activities, and other educational materials.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that support the team's mission and vision, ensuring effective execution of the commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with nurse educators, sales representatives, and marketing to evaluate and enhance current practices and processes.
  • Travel up to 20-30% as needed for conferences, consultations, nurse meetings, mentoring, and training.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Active RN licensure (unencumbered).
  • Experience in nursing education and administration.
  • Teaching experience in academic nursing, including faculty roles, curriculum design, assessment, teaching strategies, learning styles, and learning platforms.
  • Leadership and administrative experience, understanding team dynamics, organizational and budget processes, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with accreditation at both program and institutional levels.
  • Experience with nursing continuing professional development.
  • Ability to present, engage, and build professional relationships with customers and internal team members to include consultants, nurse educators, and staff.
