About the position

This position requires coverage of three hotels, two of which are 'big box' Hilton brand properties in New Orleans and Atlanta, and thus large contributors to the Hilton portfolio in the Americas. The third is an Embassy Suites in a lovely location in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. In this role, you will support the Cluster Director of Marketing in all Marketing Strategy, Planning & Execution for the three-hotel cluster.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, management, execution and measurement of all aspects of the marketing/branding strategies under the leadership of the Cluster Director of Marketing.
  • Focus on maximizing commercial performance.
  • Build a close alignment with on-property, regional, and brand marketing teams.
  • Execute the tactical elements of the annual marketing plan.
  • Manage the development of creative collateral and ensure timely media placement.
  • Regularly audit and ensure accuracy of content and assets.
  • Work alongside Operations to ideate and promote curated on-property experiences.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to provide marketing support to all sales-impacted market segments.
  • Prepare monthly marketing activity reports.
  • Support in the development and execution of PR & social media strategies.
  • Assist with the hotel positioning and content/messaging strategy.
  • Develop revenue-focused local marketing promotions.
  • Serve as primary liaison with external agencies.
  • Plan and execute projects with local partnership activations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in marketing and/or public relations preferred.
  • 3+ years of combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing communication mediums including traditional, digital, and social channels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization.
  • Project management skills.
  • Copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook), Social Media Websites, CMS Platforms, Digital Analytics, Canva, Adobe and/or Photoshop.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior hotel/travel industry experience is preferred, but not required.
