As a Senior Product Associate in Commercial Card, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
  • Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
  • Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
  • Assist in assessing financial performance of products and strategies.
  • Contribute to fact-based business assessments to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Assist in analyzing contractual cost structures of key partners.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to understand needs and priorities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Deliver reporting that provides key insights into business performance.
  • Build visuals and narratives based on observed/measured data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery, requirements definition and business case development.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Good communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to help manage successful execution.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage ambiguity.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Alteryx.
  • Comfortable in fluid, ambiguous environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business or similar experience.
  • Interest in the payments industry and willingness to learn.
