About the position

Catbird is seeking a creative and driven Community & Retail Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in bringing Catbird’s brand story to life across social media, community, and retail experiences. With a balance of content creation, influencer partnerships, events, and retail programming, you’ll work cross-functionally to strengthen our connection with customers both online and in-store.

Responsibilities

  • Support social lead with content needs, including filming jewelry unboxings and try-ons, BTS in the jewelry studio, events.
  • Support on brainstorming social content ideas for the evergreen content calendar as well as for launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Scout influencers aligned to brand and campaign goals for evergreen strategies, allowlisting, and season opportunities.
  • Maintain the influencer tracker, seeding budget, and ROI – reporting monthly to leadership on business goals and outcomes.
  • Lead on product send-outs and returns for press loans.
  • Lead scheduling editor appointments to visit in store.
  • Owner for influencer/celebrity gifting initiatives.
  • Support marketing on special projects and communicate across marketing, art, merch, retail and CX teams.
  • Manage the quarterly retail marketing budget and calendar.
  • Own KPIs and reporting on retail marketing on a monthly basis.
  • Owner of the experiential and events calendar, creating run-of-shows and project trackers for all in-store events.
  • Assist in developing guidelines to maintain a cohesive brand identity in all elements of our retail programming.
  • Support the growth marketing manager on promoting in-store services to local audiences.
  • Support store leadership in building VIP clientele relationships.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous brand, retail and/or community marketing experience within the fashion or consumer goods industry.
  • Experience with and has a strong interest in influencer marketing and building relationships with tastemakers.
  • Experience with social media tools, such as Dash Social, Iconosquare, Asana, and Canva.
  • Experience in retail event ideation, execution, and refinement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with strong project management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for fashion and digital marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
