About the position

With direction from the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, assist in coordinating the day-to-day integrated marketing strategy for the hotels including, but not limited to: media opportunities, print and digital advertising campaigns, public relations and social media messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current information on OH.com (property details, dining menus, meeting details, etc.)
  • Upload city and hotel events and activities onto Trumba weekly
  • Coordinate execution of monthly e-mail campaigns
  • Update CVENT with the most accurate & up-to-date information (need dates, meeting offer, photos, etc.)
  • Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns across all communication channels
  • Ensure each marketing project's successful circulation through campaign cycle while tracking ROI
  • Ensure social media content calendar and monthly marketing calendars are kept up-to-date and implement day-to-day social media content across all social channels to increase audience (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Monitoring review responses (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Expedia, Hotels, Google, etc.)
  • Manage, organize and inventory all marketing assets including photos, videos, press packets and printed sales and marketing collateral
  • Ensure consistency of published content across all hotel and outlet listings on various online website listings, includes proof reading and approving
  • Participate in Omni brand training and development sessions
  • Ensure that the Omni Hotels & Resorts brand image and integrity is maintained at the property level
  • Supervise and execute the production of marketing materials, promotional and internal communications materials
  • Oversee and assist DOSM with monthly invoices to ensure prompt and accurate payment to vendors
  • Assist in coordinating all vendors including, but not limited to: photographers, graphic designers, videographers, media, app and website development agencies
  • Assist in developing and managing annual local marketing budget and strategic planning process
  • Meet weekly with Area Director of Sales & Marketing to stay current on changing business needs in order to develop tactics to address concerns and opportunities with hotels to determine key need dates and opportunities to drive revenue
  • Plan, research or coordinate print and digital advertising opportunities with approved Omni Hotels & Resorts vendors
  • Coordinate hotel's monthly marketing meetings with key stakeholders (Spa Director, F&B Director, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Omni PR firm when needed as they establish relationships with the media at a local, regional, national and international level; PR firm to maintain updated media databases
  • Review and approve all hotel press releases
  • Evaluate social media and promotional opportunities presented to hotel as well as assist in developing promotions and partnerships to meet the hotel's marketing and revenue objectives
  • Develop, coordinate and publicize special events to generate positive awareness and support the marketing revenue objectives of the hotels
  • Manage and handle all incoming requests for on-property filming, includes developing of location fee schedule and assessing value of requests
  • Assists in managing media statements on immediate PR situations with corporate
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to perspective and existing clients
  • Minimum of 1 year of hotel sales experience in a coordinator role
  • Must be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays
