Job Description: The Product Manager will be a member of the Deposit Product Management Team, within the Consumer Bank of JPMorgan Chase, which is responsible for managing Retail Consumer products and services. The team is responsible for multiple Consumer products and services that account for over $4 billion in annual non-interest revenue.
This position will be responsible for supporting the management of all personal Certificate of Deposits and Retirement products.
This Product Manager will be directly responsible for customer experience items, risk and control processes, engaging with internal systems teams to ensure alignment of product needs and systems development. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think strategically, implement tactically, and work across functions.
Primary Responsibilities
* Support product development, product strategy, and pricing; serve as the CD & Retirement product expert across the organization understand how the product is built, and the surrounding regulatory and operational environment.
* Prioritize features and controls for our CD & Retirement products, creating product roadmaps, writing requirements documents, and forecasting and analyzing business results.
* Solid technical skills to partner with technology areas, develop requirements, and implement highly complex projects.
* Monitor key performance metrics, manipulate data to spot trends, analyze impact of such trends on the business and recommend any action that may be necessary.
* Develop and execute controls to ensure the product is compliant with regulatory, policy, and contractual obligations.
* Ability to directly interact with strategic partners, present concepts and solutions.
* Acts as the product expert key integrator/liaison between business lines, enterprise and marketing department influencing and negotiating options to enable the achievement of successful product design.
* Identifies competitive offerings in the market and assesses their strengths and weaknesses compared to our prepaid products.
* Monitor banker and customer feedback; identify opportunities for improved banker or customer communications, as well as product and system enhancements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor degree with 10 years of product management experience in financial services or related industry. MBA preferred.
* Problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced and high-demand environment
* Strong analytical capabilities, demonstrated leadership skills, ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative work style, motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to deep dive into issues and detail root causes but also think strategically and present the big picture.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional project management, excel and Power Point skills.
