About the position

Skylo is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to serve as the voice and visual storyteller of our brand. In this role, you'll bring Skylo's identity to life across social media platforms, internal and external communications, and customer-facing content. You'll create engaging, visually compelling content that educates and inspires, from LinkedIn posts to video clips and blog features. As a digital native with a passion for content creation, you'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to build a bold and premium presence online. Responsibilities

  • Create content experiences to educate Skylo's global audience on the power and peace of mind that comes from seamless satellite connectivity, including blogs, video podcasts, solution briefs, press releases, white papers, how to videos, email campaigns and engaging customer presentations
  • Act as Skylo's in-house content creator and storyteller, bringing a strong sense of aesthetics, personal style, and creativity to elevate brand visibility and engagement.
  • Develop and execute creative campaigns, in-house across video clips, email blasts, paid digital, organic social posts, trade show/event recaps including web page and template updates. Tie campaign execution back to results.
  • Be hands-on in targeting, engaging, and nurturing prospects across multiple media channels, both organic and paid activities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and Skylo's positioning in it to fuel sharp, creative storytelling on how our offering is differentiated from the competition.
  • Manage the Skylo blog, website, and any external communications with a point of view on how to create and execute a distinctive, highly premium brand experience.
  • Manage PR activities to grow Skylo's premium positioning in the market as a thought leader and pioneer in non-terrestrial networks.
  • Ensure a consistent Skylo Voice across all collateral, communications, creatives, etc.
  • Manage external vendors & partners for select activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3-8 years of experience at a brand or agency
  • Excellent writing, communication, content creation, video editing, and deployment skills. Adobe Premiere Pro and HubSpot experience are a plus.
  • Very strong attention to detail including project management, copywriting, video editing, CRM and email deployment skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of digital fluency-someone who lives and breathes content, understands current platform trends, and intuitively knows what will resonate.
  • Outcome-oriented -- focused on meeting timelines and deliverables
  • Able to thrive in a highly fluid go-to-market process. We are developing the playbook not running the playbook.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt in a highly fluid environment
  • A creative marketing mind that knows it's about driving revenue not about winning creativity awards.
  • Ability to understand global markets, create market specific execution plans, and work across time zones
  • Highly collaborative and a great team player.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
