Duration: Estimated as a 6-month contract, could be extended. This is a part time role, with expected commitment of around 20 hours per week. Location: This is a hybrid role, located in Raleigh, NC, or Liberty Lake, WA. This person will be expected to go into the office 1 day per week. Itron is seeking a talented Part time, Contract - Product Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us drive our marketing efforts to new heights. As a Contract-Product Marketing Specialist you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our products and services. Your primary focus will be on creating compelling promotional communications and managing marketing campaigns to drive engagement and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write high-quality promotional content for various channels, including email, social media, website, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure they meet performance goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences and understand their needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with the product development team to understand product features and benefits, and translate them into compelling marketing messages.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and copywriting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in copywriting and creating promotional content.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, social media management tools).

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in developing and executing customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Experience working in a business to business environment.
