About the position

UnitedMasters is building a marketplace that connects artists, brands and fans - empowering artists to earn and grow. UnitedMasters has taken the bold step of building a music distribution service that, radically, puts artists first - disrupting the legacy music business by letting up-and-coming artists distribute their music directly to fans through streaming services while maintaining ownership of their master recording rights and up to 100% of royalties. Through the combination of UnitedMasters' music distribution platform and its deep ties to brands, UnitedMasters enables independent artists and change-makers to grow and earn unlike any other platform. The UnitedMasters team is made up of musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers with backgrounds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and more. We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency). We are looking for a Creative, Art to join UnitedMasters! Please note that this role is a Hybrid role: three days in office and two days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Own the visual development and execution of creative across channels representing our brand, artists and product releases for various marketing channels such as: email campaigns, social media posts, paid ads, and website content.
  • Champion and protect the brand guidelines while adjusting when necessary.
  • Build presentations and present to teams.
  • Partner with marketing team and broader company to develop the best execution of creative to elevate the UnitedMasters brand.
  • Help design and conceptual projects through working closely with the creative director to finalize.
  • Concept for content shoots, artist interviews, etc. when necessary.
  • Work with designer and copywriter to create the best execution of creative for the brand.
  • Proactively pitch new concepts and visual approaches.
  • Build cross functional relationships across UM/Translation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience being as a designer or an art director (in-house or agency).
  • Experienced in supporting 360 campaigns from OOH and digital to social and scripting.
  • Experience partnering with Designers and Art Directors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Background in music or tech spaces.
  • Comfortable working with product teams.
  • Knowledge of all social platforms.
  • Experience navigating multiple.
  • G-Suite navigation a plus.
  • Figma experience a plus.
