About the position
This is a regular position for a second shift custodian at Suquamish Elementary School. The anticipated hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, working 8.0 hours per day for 260 days a year. The start date is to be determined. All interviewees will be required to take a skills test, and new hires in the Maintenance Department must undergo a physical examination at a designated medical facility, which will be paid for by the North Kitsap School District. Hires can begin work prior to the physical but must schedule the appointment promptly.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties at Suquamish Elementary School during the second shift.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of school facilities.
- Complete a skills test as part of the interview process.
- Undergo a physical examination after receiving a job offer.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Must complete a successful post-offer/pre-placement medical history and physical capacities evaluation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a custodian in a school setting or other large buildings.
- Experience with minor building and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with MSDS information and safety procedures.
