About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Product Manager Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge data products, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to delivering impactful data-driven solutions. As an intern, you will collaborate with business intelligence analysts, product managers, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to support the development and enhancement of data products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and prioritizing requirements for data products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, analytics, and business units, to gather input and ensure seamless product delivery.
- Prepare detailed product documentation, including user stories, feature requirements, and release notes.
- Support the Analytics team project tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Participate in product testing and validation to ensure data quality and functionality meet requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields. Candidates in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study or currently enrolled in a graduate program preferred.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with experience in tools like Tableau, Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain focus, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Enthusiasm for data products and a desire to build a career in product management or data-related fields.
- Interest in exploring machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and their application in data-driven solutions.
Benefits
