Dickies: Project Manager, Marketing Operations

About the position

As our business grows our need for marketing grows. Dickies is looking for people to help manage workflow for the marketing teams to allow everyone to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. A great project manager takes the vision from our marketing leaders and steers the tactical execution of the plan with our internal team of marketers and our external vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Create the Plan: Work with key stakeholders to define the project, understand what winning looks like, build a roadmap from concept to completion, assign accountability, track progress, and deliver updates to the management team.
• Drive Process: Facilitate process improvements by identifying gaps and proactively creating mitigation strategies while driving adoption with users.
• Leverage Digital Tools: Utilize our Marketing Project Management software (Wrike) to assign accountability, track progress and report out on current and future state.
• Create Executive Summaries: Share-outs should be easy to read, quickly identifying key milestones, successes and challenges, and any takeaways that require action.
• Cross functional: Communicate clearly, effectively, and often across multiple functions of the organization and at all levels so stakeholders have all information needed.
• Budget Management: Define the scope and cost of projects, update forecasts with actual expenses and drive completion on time and on budget.

Requirements

• 5+ years of on-the-job experience as a Marketing Project Manager
• Solid understanding of project management principles, processes and best practices
• Professional, energetic, and proactive work approach with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience documenting, creating, and improving processes and workflows
• Ability to motivate others and lead them in meeting project requirements
• Proven ability to embrace change and thrive in a dynamic environment
