About the position

Our client is a high-growth creative agency built specifically for the outdoor economy. From land brokers and outfitters to feed stores, apparel brands, and conservation companies-they help our clients grow through powerful video, social media, SEO, and smart digital marketing strategies. We're looking for an Account Manager who can lead client relationships with the precision of a strategist and the hustle of a doer. This is a player-coach, someone who can confidently quarterback digital marketing campaigns, communicate big-picture strategy to clients, and still roll up their sleeves when needed. You'll work at the intersection of creativity, digital performance, and client service, building long-term relationships while helping drive real business results for brands rooted in the outdoor, ranching, hunting, and rural lifestyle world.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust quickly and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Understand client goals, brand positioning, and business model-and translate that into proactive strategies
  • Lead kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and performance check-ins with clients
  • Provide high-level updates on campaign performance and make confident recommendations for growth
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or expand services in partnership with our leadership and sales teams
  • Represent the agency at client events, trade shows, and team strategy sessions
  • Guide the execution of digital campaigns (SEO, PPC, social, email, content) with support from our internal team
  • Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and SEMrush
  • Provide creative input on campaign concepts, shoot direction, and content calendars
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and paid media specialists to deliver high-quality assets
  • Mentor and support junior account managers and coordinators-helping elevate the team's performance over time
  • Stay plugged in to marketing trends across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and more-especially as they relate to outdoor brands

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing brand accounts in a digital, social, or content marketing role
  • Executive presence and confidence in client conversations, both in-person and virtually
  • A track record of owning client strategy, overseeing campaign execution, and hitting KPIs
  • Strong writing, communication, and organization skills-you can manage deadlines and details without handholding
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, SEMrush, ClickUp, and HubSpot
  • Experience giving creative feedback and guiding content creation from shoot direction to final post
  • Comfortable traveling for events, client shoots, and in-person meetings as needed
  • Must have experience working with outdoor, ranching, hunting, or rural lifestyle brands

Nice-to-haves

  • Design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
  • Experience with influencer partnerships or branded content (without trying to be the influencer)
  • Understanding of content licensing, rights management, or shoot production
