About the position

The Digital Marketing Consultant role is a business development position focused on full cycle sales, where the consultant will prospect and close new clients while collaborating with them to provide a diverse set of advertising and marketing solutions. The position requires a highly personable and intelligent individual who can lead sales efforts on digital platforms with an energetic, strategic, and entrepreneurial spirit. The consultant will work from a home office in the Philadelphia region, making both tech-based and in-person sales calls to local business owners.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enhance clients' online presence through website development, SEO, local listings, and reputation management on social media platforms.
  • Generate awareness and leads through search engine marketing, social media engagement, display advertising, video content, and mobile advertising.
  • Grow audience and promote engagement through brand content solutions and social media marketing.
  • Manage leads and customers using lead alert systems, engagement tools, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness using reporting tools, mobile applications, and insights from emerging technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality.
  • Utilize marketing services and solutions to deliver exceptional results for customers.
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses to achieve their marketing goals.
  • Identify customer needs to develop tailored account plans and client solutions.
  • Assist businesses in optimizing their online presence through digital and print marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Actively pursue and secure new business and revenue streams.
  • Retain, manage, and expand the client base in the digital landscape.
  • Collaborate within a team to manage client relationships and increase account revenue.
  • Articulate and present product suite to business decision-makers.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers via various channels.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Manage a specified sales pipeline and devise a strategy for long-term success.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins, upsell/cross-sell accounts, and address client concerns.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) effectively, recording all sales activities accurately.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing (Google AdWords, Analytics certifications preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B Sales role.
  • Prior experience and success in building a new book of business.
  • Problem solver who thrives on challenges and simplifies complex issues.
  • Possesses a competitive nature and collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and minimum liability insurance as required by law.
