About the position

The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of programmatic, paid search, and paid social, as well as other digital programs, and possess the ability to manage them effectively. The primary responsibility of the Digital Activation Manager is to deliver digital campaigns that align with our client's marketing and sales objectives. The ideal candidate is adept at managing campaigns and collaborating with others, and finds joy in both creating creative assets and leveraging marketing data to make improvements and generate reports for clients. The Digital Activation Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand and hand with clients to bring marketing campaigns to life
  • Oversee campaigns in various marketing platforms such as The Trade Desk, YahooDSP, Meta, and Google Ads, spanning paid search, social and programmatic media, digital couponing, gamified programming, and other website-based platforms
  • Develop marketing plans through research and recommendations
  • Coordinate billings
  • Provide optimization support for digital programs
  • Gather, organize, and present reporting that includes competitive research, spending data, and overall campaign performance insights
  • Work hand in hand with the client engagement and PR/Content teams and support creative development where needed
  • Maintain effective relationships with both internal and client teams
  • Analyze opportunities and make sound recommendations
  • Willingness to help train other team members and educate clients on best practices
  • Help support social media, website, and video content production
  • Ensure the accuracy of media buys and program executions
  • Build strong, positive relationships with media reps and vendors
  • Keep up with the latest trends in advertising and other client-related industries
  • Attend and participate actively in relevant team, agency, and client meetings
  • Be an active participant in idea generation, brainstorming, and creative thinking
  • Grow knowledge of media strategies, ad networks, and emerging digital marketing technology
  • Be a positive, motivating member of the team
  • Bring new ideas to the team and champion the use of digital tools, and optimizations to deliver best in class marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • 1+ years' previous experience as a media buyer, agency experience preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time
  • Knowledge of the media landscape — with a special focus on digital
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating energy and passion for the work
  • Effective problem-solver and generator of innovative solutions
  • Focused on delivering great work, no matter project size or complexity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willing and able to help with experiential marketing events on occasion
  • 10% Traveling Required
