About the position

Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a multifaceted team player for our Digital Marketing/Graphic Design Specialist position. This position is a full-time salary position with benefits. Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adults. We understand that not all wounds are visible. Depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and suicide affects millions of individuals and families. Responsibilities

  • Manage the online brand for Salt Lake Behavioral Health.
  • Maintain and update the Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital website.
  • Create graphic designs for print materials and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Order promotional materials and leverage email marketing to increase referrals.
  • Design marketing materials such as catalogs, advertisements, brochures/fliers, web designs, social media content, photo editing, email blasts and funnels, videography, and more.
  • Develop and maintain digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google, YouTube, and Meta.
  • Audit current campaigns to improve performance and maintain reports on advertising metrics and trends.
  • Execute the Salt Lake Behavioral Health social media plan by employing a content strategy across key platforms.
  • Work with UHS Corporate Social Media department to plan and conceptualize, schedule, and develop new and ongoing campaigns.
  • Capture photos and videos of facility events and promotions for posting.
  • Improve online reputation by soliciting patient testimonials and reviews, updating the website, and capturing video testimonials.
  • Manage the website, blog, and employ SEO tactics to improve organic reach.
  • Serve as a Business Development Liaison for approximately 55% of the time, visiting new and potential referral sources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and effectively promote Salt Lake Behavioral Health's inpatient and outpatient service lines.
  • Present hospital features and benefits to medical professionals, clinics, mental health providers, and community partners.
  • Assist the Director of Business Development with daily marketing goals and tasks, hosting events, and providing digital support.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development or similarly related field preferred.
  • One to five (1-5) years experience working in a digital marketing, graphic design, or business development role.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to write about complex subjects in an appealing manner.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and/or social ads.
  • Familiarity with social media copywriting best practices and SEO techniques.
  • Fluent in AP Style and experience with WordPress preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop productive professional relationships.
  • Experience working in healthcare outreach, physician marketing, or behavioral health business development preferred.
  • Public speaking, presentation, or field sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle many concurrent tasks/projects.
