Manages teams supporting and/or implementing multi-functional and/or multi-location projects and/or systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria. Develops and manages an effective risk mitigation strategy for the project(s).
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Successful track record as a manager. Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of a number of related applications areas. BA/BS degree preferred.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in the software industry, with a good amount of time spent on Analytics and Reporting.
Hands on experience with Endeca, OBIEE or Big Data Discover + Hadoop. Good to have experience in digital data and digital analysis, including social, chat, forums, and browsing data.
On Endeca, skills required are, implanting data stores using MDEX and Clover ETL, fine tuning the MDEX Engine, and be able to use Oracle database as a data source.
Primarily will be managing technically skilled resources globally who will design, develop and implement reporting on Endeca. Must be able to provide guidance around technical solutions.
Must have good communication & presentation skills.
Ideally should have managed Global teams.
Good to have Agile/Scrum Project management experience.
The Marketing Big Data Analytics Lead, will help build Social Dashboards and Segmentation Tools using Endeca on MDEX. Role involves managing resources in India and US. Will lead the effort in migrating Endeca reporting over to BDD and Hadoop.

Manage Oracle*s relationship with the influential industry analyst community. This includes managing information flow and all aspects of the relationship.
As an Analyst Relations manager you will be responsible for managing the flow of information from Oracle to the analyst community. You will also be responsible for Oracle*s commercial relationship with the analyst firms. You will be running a proactive briefing program for a product, service or industry. This includes lobbying the analysts to produce positive coverage of Oracle that the can be used by the field to support deals and Oracle*s positioning.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. Ability to work independently and to lead a virtual team across Oracle business units. Excellent project management skills as well as written and verbal communication. Thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working with people and managing relationships. Experience working with Industry Analysts either as an employee of an analyst firm, or as an analyst relations professional for a technology vendor. 10 years related experience and BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or technical major preferred.
