About the position

As an integral member of the Marketing and Communications team, the Digital Marketing Strategist will collaborate on the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that optimize marketing effectiveness and enhance user experience. This position will also analyze data and results in order to implement and report on the digital advertising, SEM, SEO, social media, and online reputation functions of our marketing strategy. Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on SEM related work, supporting and collaborating with any SEM/digital marketing vendors and the advertising agency for maximum effect.
  • Conduct keyword research and curate content with the marketing team based on keywords to drive traffic and generate actions and engagement.
  • Gather and evaluate web analytics and metrics to be used for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs and campaigns.
  • Work with our Content Creator to optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Provide support to develop and maintain engaging web content that resonates with target audiences and maximizes SEO.
  • Work with our web administration vendor and advertising agency to recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders and partners to understand business needs and find use-focused solutions.
  • Ensure that external campaigns are properly executed through all available digital marketing channels including, but not limited to website, social, video marketing and paid campaigns.
  • Evaluate digital program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Create monthly analytical reports pertaining to campaign performance; manage and update Marketing Dashboard to include digital analytics and other marketing campaign data.
  • Make recommendations for improvement based on analytics.
  • Manage and update settings for optimized analytics/data.
  • Recommend future analytics that support Marketing strategy and goals and encourage well informed decisions.
  • Apply digital marketing principles, techniques and best practices in coordination of initiatives to drive brand awareness.
  • Recommend additional or expanded social media programs that drive branding, awareness and performance goals.
  • Monitor channels and collaborate with Content Creator to grow, develop and interact with expanding audience via existing and emerging social media channels.
  • Support the Content Creator on planning/strategizing of corporate level social media efforts to promote key events and campaigns via established channels.
  • Manage MNGI presence within ratings and review sites and online directories.
  • Conduct social listening. Recommend improvements based on feedback from reviews.
  • Support the Content Creator with the website including content, labeling, ongoing updates and other maintenance in coordination with our marketing team and website administration vendor.
  • As needed, support the marketing team with the development of digital content for the website, social media, internal video production and more.
  • Support others in the department with day-to-day needs, which could include but is not limited to writing, editing, social media efforts, graphic design, as well as response and updates for online reputation management and online business listings.
  • Collaborate with other Performance departments to improve marketing, communications and employer/entity and quality/patient experience branding.
  • Assume responsibility for special projects as defined.
  • Support and execute internal and external programs that meet the needs of the organization, its employees, or patients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a digital marketing role; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing SEO, branded social media and social media advertising.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new software as needed.
  • Strong communication skills - oral and written.
