This role primarily involves digital marketing campaign planning, execution and management. He or she identifies key channels, competitors, and audiences for Clients and assesses risks for transitioning from traditional to digital marketing campaigns. In addition, the Digital Marketing Strategist supports the development of the digital marketing solution by developing content, and presentations.
An ideal candidate is capable of prioritizing and sequencing an action plan to translate a marketing strategy into deliverables. He or she should be creative and can contribute fresh ideas using current technologies. He or she should also have experience working with both Clients and other internal teams. Experience managing cross-channel integration and management and expertise in advertising and marketing technology stacks a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Delivery:
Lead major digital marketing consultative engagements where Accenture is actively creating, deploying and managing a Clientâs digital marketing strategy and roadmap. This may involve architecting the digital marketing strategy, conducting research, building digital marketing campaigns, partnering with ad and marketing technology vendors, optimizing campaigns for business outcomes, creating performance reporting, and making program improvement recommendations.
Perform assessments and develop roadmaps to help clients establish and achieve their digital marketing objectives. Perform detailed evaluation of client business environments and the market they sell in, including capabilities and assets, brand aspirations, customer needs, platform assessments, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats within the digital space.
Work closely with client representatives, Accenture personnel and partners throughout project to define and review deliverables, meet expectations and address any account concerns.
Understand and analyze various click-stream and conversion funnel data, drawing conclusions that help increase the performance of the digital marketing campaign tactics.
· Foster the development of the team, from active recruitment to the active management of aligned personnel to the operation of internal team meetings.
Business Development:
Play an active role in identifying, defining and selling the personalization value proposition to new and existing clients.
· Attend sales meetings, manage pipeline, shape proposals and support RFP responses for this space.
Innovation
Keep in front of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events. Identify and correlate emerging trends within the digital landscape that Clients can benefit from.
Actively contribute to the development of Accentureâs personalization and digital marketing offerings, partnerships, and technical assets. Support the shaping of new and existing digital marketing services for market success.
Develop thought leadership that helps position Accenture as a leader in the ad tech and marketing tech spaces. Be an avid contributor to POVs and the knowledge exchange.
Represent Accenture at industry conferences, presenting thought leadership and the Accenture point of view on personalization and digital marketing.
Travel is required. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
8 years of experience working in the digital marketing space in a corporate digital marketing role, digital agency or digital consultancy.
6 years of experience developing and managing cross-channel digital marketing campaigns is required including at least some of the following: digital advertising, programmatic, SEO, social, and email.
Deep experience with Client-facing projects, ideally in consulting, agency or other business-related services.
Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, economics, mathematics, or technical specialty
Previous experience developing personalized marketing and experiences, digital and/or physical, while leveraging sophisticated data and analytics.
Previous experience working closely with ad tech and marketing tech software.
Knowledge of how technologies such as DMPâs, data flows, content management, and campaign management systems combine to deliver personalized experiences
