About the position

We are seeking a Digital Product VP/Associate to join our growing team within RBC Capital Markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product Innovation, this role offers the opportunity to support cutting-edge digital and AI products across our Investment Bank. In this position, you’ll partner with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders from various lines of business to build, integrate, and execute digital and AI-powered solutions that transform how our business delivers value to our clients and stakeholders. This is a highly visible opportunity to define product strategy, lead end-to-end product development, and help drive RBC’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Product Innovation to define and implement product roadmaps that address critical business needs and align with RBC’s digital & AI strategy.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across global investment banking, as well as engineers and technical teams, to identify opportunities, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather product requirements, create user personas, define use cases and convert insights into actionable products, all within an agile development framework.
  • Support day-to-day product development, ensuring features and functionality are delivered on time, aligned to strategy, and meeting client and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate to design and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into digital products to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and client service.
  • Leverage data to monitor product performance, identify trends, and provide insights that inform ongoing development and iteration.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on product progress, key initiatives, and milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Finance, Data Science).
  • Investment banking, equity research or capital markets experience is advantageous.
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and their application to digital solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, Jira, and/or other product management tools is a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and a willingness to learn the nuances of digital product development in financial services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work seamlessly across technical and business teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
