The U.S. Personal Banking Marketing team is seeking a talented and ambitious Marketer to join the Dillard’s marketing team. The role involves developing and owning the annual marketing plan to drive growth for key clients, managing necessary approvals for initiatives, creating best-in-class marketing communications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize initiative performance. The Partner Marketing Manager will serve as the primary contact with Citi’s Partner Management team and will be expected to drive innovation through various marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the annual marketing plan to drive growth for key clients.
  • Manage necessary approvals for initiatives including funding approval, legal, and compliance.
  • Work with clients and agencies to create effective marketing communications.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assess initiative performance and share learnings.
  • Collaborate with partners to innovate and drive relevant customer experiences.
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to legal, compliance, and control requirements.
  • Build annual engagement plan to drive retail and credit sales growth.
  • Develop program strategy and provide marketing leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Align with Partner Management team to develop shared goals and objectives.
  • Work with Business Operations and Marketing Technology to streamline execution.
  • Collaborate with digital team to drive incremental sales through online channels.
  • Maintain oversight of marketing campaigns and key deliverables.
  • Facilitate strategic marketing discussions with Partners.
  • Create presentations and documentation for Partner meetings and internal reviews.
  • Develop and maintain partner marketing calendars.
  • Manage annual financial budget for applicable programs.
  • Collaborate with Decision Management to monitor campaign performance.
  • Review program performance with Partners and drive strategic discussions.
  • Share best practices with marketing colleagues.
  • Leverage research and insights tools for informed decision-making.
  • Monitor process control points and governance requirements.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of working experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of private label and/or co-brand credit card marketing programs.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop marketing strategies.
  • Experience leveraging multiple marketing channels to maximize ROI.
  • Track record of managing complex marketing programs in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong partner/client-facing experience.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and digital channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Strong team player with ability to lead and negotiate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize projects.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid project management skills with attention to detail.
