About the position

This dynamic and strategic role is ideal for an experienced marketing operations leader eager to optimize systems and processes across a mission-driven organization. As Director, you’ll oversee the marketing technology stack, drive campaign performance, and build the infrastructure needed to support scalable, data-driven marketing. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure seamless integration, high-quality execution, and impactful reporting. Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRMs, automation platforms, analytics tools, and data governance systems.
  • Oversee campaign operations from planning through execution, ensuring streamlined workflows, cohesive messaging, and timely delivery across channels.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards, performance reports, and KPIs to assess campaign success and optimize ROI.
  • Lead process improvements and operational best practices to improve internal coordination, speed, and accuracy across the marketing team.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and marketing regulations while maintaining data integrity across platforms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams such as Partnerships, IT, and Student Affairs to align systems and resolve data-related challenges.
  • Engage external research vendors to gather insights and produce impact-focused reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing operations, with a strong background in systems management and campaign implementation.
  • Demonstrated success in using platforms such as Google Analytics, Webflow, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or Slate (experience with all is a plus).
  • Strong project management skills, capable of juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience designing reporting tools and dashboards that guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of effective cross-functional communication and problem-solving.

  • Preferred experience with marketing automation workflows and implementing scalable marketing infrastructure.
