About the position

Simulmedia is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Brand Marketing to lead and evolve our brand identity and market positioning. This role is ideal for a highly motivated marketing leader with a strong background in advanced TV and digital media, who has an entrepreneurial spirit and can blend creative excellence with data-driven insights to elevate brand awareness, preference, and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Simulmedia's brand narrative, positioning, and visual identity to reflect its unique value proposition in a dynamic market.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, internal and external including keeping collateral updated, educating team members on messaging changes, etc.
  • Lead events evaluation, planning and execution, including corporate conferences, trade shows, webinars and networking events that support sales and marketing objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, renewals and manage all aspects of events planning including, budget allocation, invites, presentation development and more.
  • Manage external communications including PR strategy, analyst relations, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for brand performance (e.g., awareness, recall, share of voice, sentiment).
  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel brand campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared media.
  • Oversee brand creative development-concepts, storytelling, copy, and design-that emotionally connects with customers and differentiates Simulmedia in the market.
  • Develop and own content marketing initiatives including video, thought leadership, social media, and experiential campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor Growth and Content Marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve their goals.
  • Champion a culture of creativity, inclusion, and results-driven thinking within the broader marketing function.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of brand marketing experience in high-growth B2B or media/tech companies, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and evolving premium brands in competitive industries.
  • Deep understanding of the advertising and media ecosystem-linear TV, CTV, digital video, programmatic, etc.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and design sensibility with experience managing cross-functional creative and agency partners.
  • Data-savvy with experience using analytics to drive brand decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
