About the position

The Director of Casino Marketing is responsible for all aspects of marketing efforts at Club Fortune Henderson casino, which includes Gaming Analysis, Casino Promotions, Player Development, and Advertising. The casino operates in a fast-paced local market with approximately 500 slots and 2 restaurants. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the director will be directly involved in every aspect of Casino Marketing and will manage the Marketing Team to ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role also provides leadership guidance to both the Marketing team and the casino as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a positive and energetic personality at all times to customers and employees.
  • Independently manages multiple department functions and employees in a professional and encouraging manner.
  • Employee relations management includes recruitment, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
  • Plans, coordinates and executes marketing efforts to acquire, retain and reactivate qualified players.
  • Generates reports, analyzes and makes recommendations for marketing promotions and other data analytics.
  • Builds and develops a fast growing marketing team that is competent, dedicated and efficient.
  • Tracks, evaluates and adjusts strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Develops long-term marketing strategy and goals.
  • Manages the customer life cycle, segmentation, and loyalty management.
  • Evaluates customer segmentation models for growth opportunities in trips, customer win, and customer acquisition.
  • Works with property leadership to ensure marketing efforts are producing results and are competitive or premium to the local market.
  • Executes direct mail follow-up and tracking to support player reactivation programs.
  • Identifies appropriate prize structures, giveaways and other incentives for customers.
  • Manages marketing and departmental budgets.
  • Prioritizes tasks and uses time effectively and efficiently.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in casino marketing experience required, including at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing analytics, direct marketing, database utilization and tracking systems experience in managing multiple projects required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of Player Tracking software; Oasis software preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related area preferred.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior Casino Marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
