About the position

The Director of Digital Marketing will build a strategic, result-driven, hands-on approach to scale the overall digital marketing efforts across various digital channels including web, mobile, SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, and email for Seneca Gaming Corporation and its subsidiary brands. This role presents an opportunity to shape SGC's overall digital strategy to drive measurable growth. Success in this role requires strong collaboration and coordination with the broader marketing organization, internal stakeholders, senior leadership team, and external partners to ensure a cohesive brand presence and holistic success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating and implementing a consistent digital presence, driving web traffic and online revenue, and establishing and improving customer engagement. A strong understanding of various digital channels, analytical skills to measure campaign performance, budget management, team leadership, and alignment of digital strategy with company objectives are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for SGC and its brands that align with overall business goals.
  • Help establish SGC's digital marketing foundation including resources, tools, processes, workflows, and playbooks.
  • Guide the execution across digital channels including website, mobile app, email, social media, SEO, SEM, and paid media.
  • Implement and analyze data from digital marketing tools to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee A/B testing and apply learnings to refine content and spend.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure digital strategies align with corporate and brand goals.
  • Manage budget effectively to allocate resources across various channels to maximize ROI.
  • Hire, train, and coach a digital marketing team.
  • Partner with external digital agencies to execute high-impact campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of digital marketing strategies.
  • Stay up to date with the evolving digital marketing landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant Marketing degree.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in digital marketing.
  • Minimum five (5) years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in leveraging digital marketing channels to promote brands, products, and services.
  • Deep understanding of web and mobile development and implementation.
  • Experience in A/B testing.
  • Experience in managing external digital agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze reports and optimize strategies.
  • Demonstrated passion for digital marketing and online consumer behavior.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly evolving work environments.
  • Proficient in key digital platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable.
  • Background in agency environments is strongly preferred.
