About the position

The Director of Marketing and Customer Acquisition for Nature's Sunshine will be a key leader and North American marketing team member responsible for driving brand awareness, significant customer acquisition, and accelerating affiliate activation while increasing consumer engagement and overall eCommerce revenue. We seek a data-driven growth marketer who can drive full-funnel strategies that lower CAC, boost LTV, and deliver real business impact. This role will support and, in some cases, lead the brand strategy development and implementation, manage North American consumer campaign elements (digital, social, OOH), support and elevate new and existing PR efforts, and ultimately ensure the best consumer eCommerce and brand experience. This position will lead a talented team across social, content, brand, and affiliate marketing, collaborating cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, and Product teams to deliver high-impact consumer experiences. This role reports to the VP of Marketing for North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4 marketing members, including supporting their work, career pathing development, and championing them within the organization
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing, OBU President, and senior leadership on high-profile communications, including Board presentations, company-wide events (e.g., NSP Live), performance updates, etc.
  • Provide strategic brand leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, ensuring brand thinking permeates the organization.
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and performance evaluation of the 360-marketing calendar
  • Develop integrated brand and new product go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Category Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Operations.
  • Develop 360-degree campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, including digital, experiential, influencer activation, and social media.
  • Support the development and implementation of the brand strategy and visual identity across all consumer and distributor touchpoints
  • Implement measurement frameworks to track brand health, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Lead media strategy, execution, and performance across various channels including paid search, social media, display, content partnerships, affiliate marketing, etc.
  • Spearhead partnerships with Creative and Media agencies to manage a sizeable paid media budget to deliver compelling brand awareness campaigns, customer acquisition, engagement, and ROAS KPIs.
  • Always-on creative, targeting, and media placement optimizations to maximize brand presence, consumer resonance, and ultimately activation
  • Manage the overall marketing and media budget to ensure the team delivers on the business objectives and outlined KPIs
  • Collaborate with the CRM team to develop retention strategies, email/SMS flows, and personalized content that increase LTV and repeat purchase rate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital communication, or similar
  • 8+ years' experience in Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, and/or Digital Marketing
  • 4+ years' experience managing and leading a team
  • Significant experience developing and managing a consumer-facing campaign, including creative, media, performance evaluation, and recommendations on optimization
  • Strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience with analytics tools such as GA4 and Rockerbox is a plus. Adept at analyzing campaign performance and recommending optimizations and adjustments.
