We are seeking a skilled Director of Product Marketing to drive the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy of LWT's products. This is a player-coach role that is responsible for your own set of products while also managing a team. You are responsible for developing messages that connect LWT's products to buyer pain points and effectively enabling our customer-facing teams to sell the products.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the value proposition, messaging, and positioning for assigned products, including messaging frameworks, buyer personas, competitive analysis, and market requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify growth opportunities and ensure campaign messaging aligns with product positioning and key differentiators.
  • Partner with the product team on roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and go-to-market timelines for product and feature launches.
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new and existing products, ensuring persona alignment, benefit-focused messaging, and strong sales enablement.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools and collateral, including guides, battle cards, sample kits, and presentations.
  • Train customer-facing teams on product messaging and selling tools to drive effective engagement.
  • Partner with Market Research to gather and apply voice-of-customer insights through win/loss interviews, surveys, and feedback loops.
  • Execute campaigns to increase engagement and usage within the existing customer base.
  • Manage and support the product marketing team, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality execution across all initiatives.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. in marketing, education, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years related experience marketing with 3+ years in product marketing. Preference for experience marketing supplemental print & digital programs for elementary grades.
  • Experience in K-12 education, preference for experience in early literacy/ELA.
  • Experience utilizing insights to build compelling campaigns and programs.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and product management.
  • Proven leadership presence, building relationships and cross functional teams.
