About the position

We've built technology that helps people find great therapists with the first software-enabled national network of providers accepting insurance. 1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don't accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice. Headway was founded in 2019. We're looking for a passionate Director of Product to shape the future of the patient experience here at Headway.

Responsibilities

  • Craft delightful, data-driven product experiences to ensure our patients get high-quality care quickly.
  • Develop a vision and strategy for how we engage and support patients throughout their mental health journey.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, data, business development, GTM, and other cross-functional partners to learn and ship quickly.
  • Deeply understand and embody the voice of our patients while staying close to your team of PMs to quickly build and iterate on products for the patient journey.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building net new consumer growth products or core product experiences.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.
  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess deep user empathy and strong intuition on user behavior.
  • Innately curious and eager to quickly test and learn how users will respond to new experiences.
  • Exceptional high bar for building incredible experiences.
  • Results driven with a focus on creating impact and driving results.
